Support our amazing practitioner Nikki – and one of the incredible families she has worked with, whose son has cerebral palsy – to take on the Superhero Tri Series powered by Marvel this summer and raise JustGiving funds for Beacon Family Services CIC.

Superhero Tri 2026
As a team, Nikki, Tom, Dani and their son will take on a fully inclusive triathlon to help raise funds for our organisation and create fantastic fun-filled memories too. DIY superhero costumes may be involved 😊
🏊♀️ Nikki (our practitioner) will complete a 750m swim in Dorney Lake in Windsor.
🚴Tom (parent) will take on the 20k cycle and aim to include his son on his adapted bicycle for a leg of the journey.
🏃Dani (parent) will take on the 5km run and aim to include her son in his wheelchair for part of the journey.

Nikki says, “With Beacon Family Services I adapted and developed creative new ways for families to access Theraplay® no matter what. Tom and Dani’s son has cerebral palsy and creating opportunities for fun and adventure is super-important to them. That’s why we’re all excited to take part in the Marvel Superhero Series Triathlon!”

Our practitioner Nikki loves raising kid’s confidence and independence with inclusive and creative play therapies
Like other organisations who rely on multiple funding sources in tough times, Beacon Family Services achieves so much, but it can only do as much as it is supported to do. Last year we supported 466 families, reached 1,217 children with our play therapies, and created £1.59 of social value for every £1 invested.
This fundraising mission will help us continue to be there for families, providing vital play therapies for those in need.

Our therapists and practitioners create opportunities through play therapies for families to connect through shared joy and togetherness.
