Therapeutic Support for Adoptive Parents and Families
As a parent in an adoptive family or kinship family, it can be hard to know how to respond when your child is finding change difficult.
Our highly trained and clinically-supervised professionals provide support to adoptive and kinship families to help build and strengthen relationships. We don't take a one-size-fits-all approach! Our support is tailored to the specific needs of your family.
NEW: Online workshops for adoptive parents and kinship carers
Is your child struggling with school? This online workshop for adoptive parents and kinship carers can help you understand why things may not be working for your child at school, and what you can do about it.
“After experiencing some very dark and difficult times we were introduced to Beacon Family Services. At first it was a leap of faith to understand the connection between the play therapy but after a few sessions we began to see some real progress. Now it provides us with a new and effective set of tools to deal with the difficult times which are now few and far between.”

Further therapeutic support for adoptive families
We have a range of resources and funded therapeutic groups available to adoptive, foster and kinship families, even if you have no access to further funding and support. We also provide training for professionals, equipping schools, social workers, and other professionals with the knowledge to support adoptive families effectively. Our therapeutic services are designed to nurture connection, understanding, and resilience in your child.
