Our team worked together to define what makes our support for families so special. In 2024, we committed to ensuring the following values are embedded throughout all of our work.

We Are Inclusive
We understand that families have unique needs and challenges. We take time to understand those individual needs and challenges and adapt our services accordingly.

We Are Relational
We meet families where they are and make sure each and every interaction we have is positive, affirming and supportive. We take time to get to know our families, the professionals we work with and each other. We value the contributions made by others and the time we spend together.

We Are Authentic
We believe in being genuine in our work with families, professionals and with each other. We value everyone as an individual and support everyone we come into contact with to be their authentic self, without judgement.

We Think Differently
We are constantly evolving to make sure our work makes a real and lasting difference to families and professionals. We work with families and professionals to explore new ideas and new approaches.

We Are Impactful
We believe in what we do and we take pride in making a difference for children and young people. We measure and assess our impact so that we can understand the value of our work and challenge ourselves to improve.

Our mission is to build strong relationships that help children feel safe, secure and able to thrive. Our work is guided by seven aims that together create lasting change for children, families and communities.

1. Creating Welcoming and Relational Support
We provide safe, supportive and relationship-centred services that help families feel understood, valued and able to engage with support.

2. Ensuring Inclusive Access
We raise funds and develop services that increase access to early and preventative support, particularly for families who may otherwise struggle to access help.

3. Building Understanding
Through therapeutic and play-based approaches, we help parents and carers better understand children's behaviours, emotions and unmet needs.

4. Growing Confidence
As understanding increases, parents and carers develop greater confidence in their ability to respond to challenges and support their children effectively.

5. Improving Family Wellbeing
Greater confidence and stronger relationships contribute to improved wellbeing, resilience and everyday family life.

6. Supporting Children's Mental Health
By strengthening relationships and providing early intervention, we help children feel safer, more connected and better able to thrive emotionally.

7. Extending Awareness and Reach
We raise awareness of children's emotional wellbeing and our work through partnerships, training, communications and creative engagement, enabling us to reach and support more families.
