Workshop for Adoptive Parents: My Child is Not Fine at School with Dr Naomi Fisher
Online workshop for adoptive parents: Not Fine in School
Are you an adoptive parent or kinship / carer / foster parent whose child is struggling with school? Facilitated by clinical psychologist Dr. Naomi Fisher, this online workshop can help you understand why things may not be working for your child at school, and what you can do about it.
About Dr. Naomi Fisher
Naomi is a clinical psychologist who specialises in trauma, autism and alternative ways to learn. She is the author of several books, including When the Naughty Step Makes Things Worse and The Teenager’s Guide to Burnout (both with illustrator Eliza Fricker). She works with families when school is going wrong for their child. She runs webinars for parents on helping their children with common problems and can be found at www.naomifisher.co.uk.
About the online workshop
These webinars for parents last about 90 minutes. Naomi usually talks for about 20 minutes at time and then there will be a brief opportunity to interact in the chat. Questions about individual situations cannot be responded to because Naomi cannot give clinical advice without knowing the background of the child and family. Everyone who signs up using the BFS code will be sent the recording following the presentation and it will be viewable for 30 days.
